LOCATION
The vineyards of Clos De Lom are located in the “Valle Dels Alforins”, within the geographical area covered by the protected denomination of origin Valencia.
The Dupuy of Lome family selected the slopes of the “Valle Dels Alforins” as the ideal location for planting vineyards. Time has given them reason, because the “Valle Dels Alforins” is one of the most exquisite and different environments for the cultivation of the vine.
An optimal climate for the vineyards
Environmental conditions create a very particular climate of a continental type with cold winters and hot summers, from extensive temperature range, and with a sharp Mediterranean influence. Protected in the Valley, the rain is very low, that benefits the strain resistance and provides more expressive grapes.
The proximity of the sea brings us the light winds, bringing health to the plant and a slight moisture which maintains the hydration of our vineyards.
